Rolando Acosta is a long-time nonprofit leader in South Florida. Mr. Acosta leads our diverse board, shaping our vision and developing strategies to address some of South Florida’s most pressing issues such as home rebuilding, disaster mitigation, disaster relief and recovery, financial management and other areas affecting people in need.

Janell Canela is a Register Nurse, children’s services advocate, and a longtime community volunteer. Ms. Canela helps guide our mission, strategies and overall direction.
As a fulltime caregiver, Teresa Acosta provides insight into the needs and demands on people caring for the elderly, including housing improvements, in-home services, donated items, and others. Ms. Acosta guides programs that give caregivers and families support and assistance..

Miguel Echevarria owns a small business and helps shape our understanding of how economy, employment, social issues affect local businesses and their employees and families.
Farrah Salem works in the field of education helping children and families. Ms. Salem helps guide our outreach and consumer education approach to the families, ensuring that we raise awareness about programs with efficiency and remain efficient and relevant to the communities.
